Christiancupid.com is an online dating service in which married or single people can meet, to be friends, or form relationships beyond friendship. When you sign up, it is free, however; you must answer a questionnaire about your ethnicity, body type, children, religion and a few other items, as well as what you want in another person with all of these same things, including how far they can live from where you are.
When you finish filling this out you will be logged onto the main menu of the website. The top of the page has the home, help, and logout tabs. To the left, in a lovely lavender, is a standard search, or advanced search of which you can use to try and locate the perfect mate or friend online.
In the center of the page of the Christiancupid.com webpage, you will find my profile in green, this has all the links to change things on your profile which include, view, update, add/update match info, add/update personality info, add/manage photos and add video links, which you can use to customize your profile, you can also add a picture.
Just below this in a gorgeous pin is your mailbox, which will display the number of messages, new, in your inbox, or sent messages. You can also contact members using the who’s online, chat, or who’s new links. The who’s online will show you indeed who is online at that particular time. You then can select a region and age group and see if anyone in that particular set of rules is online. The chat cannot be accessed until you buy a membership, like many other dating sites. The last of these is the who’s new link, in which you can see new members of interest.
To the right of this in a tan color, there is a list called lists, under which you can find your way around Christiancupid.com. The listings under this include favorites, I’m their favorite, my matches, my interest list, who’s interested, block list, missed IM’s, online friends list, who’s online, who’s new, video gallery, latest photos, most popular, and viewed my profile. Underneath of this, you can check your membership status, switch memberships, change your account settings or password if you like. There is also a Christian advice blog, travel information, time zones, women’s safety, and a Cool! send flowers to your lady tab. The cool! wasn’t me, that is how it actually is on the dating site. You can also bookmark the site if you wish to do so for easy reference.
Back to the lists, favorites is the first item up for review, the favorites is not what I thought, where you can list your favorites, it is where other people can add you as a favorite to their list. When you click on it, you can add a photo if you have not already done so, which will get you added as a favorite much quicker. You can also upgrade your membership, which is suppose to add to your popularity on the site.
Blocked list, this is pretty straight forward, these are people you have blocked because for whatever reason they annoy you or you no longer want to talk to them, so they go on your blocked list. The missed IM’s tab is also straight forward, if you miss any instant messages because you leave the page or go offline, you can read them when you get back on.
The online friends list allows you to save people as your friends here so that you can find and speak to them later. Who’s online, and who’s new, let you know who is online at the current time, and who is new to christiancupid.com. The video gallery allows you to look through videos that have been posted on the site. The latest photos allow you to see the latest photos that have been uploaded by members of the site other than yourself. Most popular gives you the list of the most popular people on the site who are liked by others. Lastly viewed my profile, gives you a list of those who have viewed your profile, so you can see what potential matches you may have.
This site is set up with a very basic and easy to use format, with easy to use tabs and common sense names. This is a great site for anyone of age that is looking for someone new in their lives. Christiancupid.com has something for just about everyone from friendship, to relationships.
